Carol Sinclair
Ceramics
Carol Sinclair is a ceramics graduate of Grays School of Art, Aberdeen. She began her career running her own tile design studio and gallery in Edinburgh. For the last 15 years she has focused on creating sculptures and installations that explore the theme of memory and its role in making the connections we have to one another and our environment.
Carol combines her creative practice with her work as a freelance business adviser, trainer and project manager, and is currently the Chair of Applied Arts Scotland. She has a strong interest in social enterprises with a particular passion for craft and champions its role in economic development, sustainability, identity, health and well being.
She enjoys collaborating with and learning from makers and artists from other disciplines, most recently international jewellers and textiles artists.
